Hay chopper Kiwi

Hay chopper Kiwi is multifunctional in its use: it performs selection of hay rollers after any domestic and foreign grain combines, double grinding of hay, spreading of chopped hay along field.

The chopper is created counting knowledge that hay ploughed into soil is the organic fertilizer which increases fruitfulness and supports development of useful microflora of soil. The advantage before choppers built-in a combine is not only more economic consumption of fuel, but also considerably increased, in comparison with combines, spreading width hay- up to 6 meters.  

The machine is used in all soil-climatic zones where combines are able to operate. Kiwi is interesting that it may be re-equipped into trailer combine. Unitization with tractors of traction class 1.4 t.f. at rotating speed PTO 540 rpm.

Increase of fruitfulness and yield
Chopper provides soil with hay which acts as organic fertilizer.

Repletion of mass with organic elements
Construction of hay chopper enables to perform double chopping (rough chopping by rotor cutting devise and additional chopping by the chopper) which fills mass with organic elements, supports increase of fertile properties of soil.

Increase of working term of knives
Use of two-sided knives of the chopper guarantees increase of their working term twice (after depreciation of one side of knife blade it may be turned to the other one).

Simplified transportation and reduction of time for additional installation of the machine
Presence of foldable pin permits to simplify transportation of the machine, that decreases time for additional installation of the chopper.

Possibility of re-equipment into forage collecting combine
Possibility of re-equipment of chopper Kiwi into trailer forage collecting combine Stern under individual order makes the machine multifunctional.

Long exploitation
Reliable driving gear, consisting of gimbal driveline with safety and siding clutch, step-up gear of well-known European producers and chain clutch considerably prolongs working term of the chopper.

Convenience of control
Transmission of the chopper into operating and transport position is effected from the cabin of the tractor with the help of hydraulics that simplifies work of an operator.
